that can cause you bodily harm.

Safety Hazards Signs
Assignment #1: You will complete eight different safety signs warning people about potential danger. Sample warnings might include: Danger: Slippery sidewalks when wet
Complete the following safety hazard signs:
Compressed gas (gas under pressure)
Biohazard (infection)
Oxidizing material (burst into flames) Flammable (fire )
Radioactive (radiation)
Poison ( Do not swallow ) (chemicals)
Corrosive (acid)
Toxic Effects ( Burning,no touching)
When you have completed each warning sign. Open the powerpoint program in another window. You can drag each safety warning sign into the powerpoint. Place all eight warning signs onto one powerpoint page.
Assignment #2: You can complete four humorous safety signs. For example: Warning: No Kissing or Hugging on this park bench. Quiet Please: I am taking a nap.
May 11: Creating a Storyboard
Using the storyboard script chart complete the story of the students exploring Forest Lawn High School. Use different camera angles and dialogue. When you are finished the script go and shoot the still shots of the students that illustrate your camera shots. This is the story board you will use when you shoot your video.
Click on this example to see how you should pose for your camera shot. Use hand gestures and facial expressions to tell your story.
May 2 Animoto slide show
Today we are going to make a slide show from the pictures you have taken for your imaginary story.
1. You must first register for your free video account on Animoto.
2. Follow the instructions on how to choose your slides you want to place in your slide show.
3. Choose 10 of the best picture slides you have taken and place them in your slide show.
4. After you have loaded your slides you can choose the music you like.
5. Add the Animoto video site to your favorites to your bookmark bar.
6. Click the ANIMOTO MOVIE AND LET US BEGIN

March 16 You now know how to create an imaginary story. We are now going to create an imaginary story about the everyday objects that we see at Forest Lawn High School. Complete the assigment MY ILLUSTRATED STORY. Save the assignment to your visual communication folder.
March 15 It is going to be St.Patrick's Day this week. We are going to tell an imaginary story
that uses 15 images. Click on THE IMAGINARY STORY. Save the imaginary story into your folder. Fill in the missing words to the story. Go to google images and find a picture for each word.
